Here’s a project that EVERYONE can relate to. In comes Natasha. She moved from a house into a condo with very little storage. She had to find a way to manage all of the music and movies accumulated over the years. She loved the formal living room appearance we created but convenience and accessibility were also priorities.

We suggested using the fairly useless “coat closet” and transforming it into a media center in a very cost-effective manner. Now one place stores all of her media (cds, dvds and even the old VHS tapes). It’s become Natasha’s decorative conversation piece! She loved that we simplified entertaining by using the laptop as her hidden DJ in the closet. Using the play list features, she can customize music for an entire event.

One other problem Natasha needed help with was everyone borrowing her stuff. We made an easy simple checkout system for her to track whom borrowed what. Now she knows where everything is at all times and who to call with late notices and failure to return “rented” items. Natasha says, “It’s a fun way to make sure I get my stuff back. Imagine their surprise when I leave them voicemail with a friendly return reminder in my cheesy operator voice!”
